In President Obama's Inaugural Address, one of his most striking quotes was, "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America." I think that it is up to us to get up and help bring change to reality instead of being apathetic.

Hello Latiqua! Although I am not very fond of President Obama, I agree that it is up to us to bring change to our country. It is very true that we should show care and try our best to do what we feel would bring about the solution to our country's problems. I really liked this post because it's short, to the point, and entertaining. I, too, am very excited about Obama's presidency and can't wait to see what changes he will make. I believe he will be one of the best presidents we've had, and hope to see that he makes things in the U.S. a lot better.

ReplyDeletePresident Obama's inaugaration means change. Big change for this country. I, for one, am looking forward to what he has in mind as to how to go about bringing our country together again. The next 4, maybe 8, years should be fairly interesting for us.
